Walking:
Footpaths, hills, nature trails, rocky rambles, forests and mountains - walking and climbing for all levels.

Watersports:
Enjoy swimming, sailing, canoeing and powerboats from some of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Europe.  For the more adventurous, there's always the thrill of white-water rafting a little further afield.

Wildlife:
The area is rich in rare bird species inc. peregrine falcons, red kites and buzzards.  There are also RSPB reserves nearby where you can go and observe red kite, feed badgers and seek out the numerous varieties of butterfly native to the region

Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT)
Based at nearby Machynlleth (the ancient capital of Wales), the CAT is Europe's leading Eco-Centre.  Learn about organic gardening and natural sources of power;  solar, water and wind-power displays.  An informative and interesting day out!
